Is this normal?
For 12 years I had my own private office. Six months ago I started working for a new company and now I share an office with 2 other people. Admittedly, after 12 years on my own, I don't like sharing an office, but it is what it is. But these people are driving me crazy. They read and talk to themselves out loud. They're doing their work on the computer or whatever, and while they're working, they read or talk to themselves out loud. It drives me ****ing insane!! The two of them have been working together in the same office for a while, and apparently they've gotten used to it, or maybe talking to yourself out loud is SOP. Do you talk to yourself out loud when you're working? I don't, I keep it inside my head.

No. It is not normal, Mr. bogey.
Most likely, you have been magically transported to "Damn Land" while in your sleep. FAX |

Nah man, it sucks. I work with a bitch that talks OUT LOUD to herself. I don't mind the mumblers. I can tune that out with the tapping of keys, but she speaks to herself louder than I speak to other people.
Get yourself an iPod. The best alternative. |

I tend to let expletives fly while I'm working.
We have one lady that does talk to herself all the time. The first time I pasted by her office I thought she was trying to talk to me. I'm glad I have an office, alone, with a door, and a LOCK! |

That's sucks. This has to be very annoying, especially if you don't have any other options for office space. Ear plugs or music are your two options.

I like the iPod idea, very much. An excellent solution.
However, in "Damn Land", the office buildings are always burning down. You'll need to position yourself in front of the emergency exit. FAX |
