Man takes own life KCI parking lot found 8 mo. later

Guy Drives truck to KCI long and short term parking lot commits suicide and sets in truck from Jan. to Sept. thru KC summer undiscovered. The private parking security is right on top its game on this that had to be getting ripe.

The family knowing his truck drove the lots trying to find him and couldnt. Dont know if police did also but family sure seemed positive he was heading to airport. Just hard to believe it didnt reek around that truck. I mean they are sealed but not like a 50's or 60's VW beetle.

I'd love to know what lot this was, because I always park in the outdoor terminal lot between terminal A & B for $15.50 a day. I've had at least 10 flights out of MCI this year.

Edit: Looks like they identified it as Economy B, so not my lot. $7.50 a day I believe.

That's the Southwest lot, so there have to be many thousands of travelers in and out of there each day.

I'm not sure too many people use the economy lot anymore with the parking spot there. I had to park there once when the Parking spot was full a couple years ago and the parking lot was pretty empty and this was around spring break. Since then, the parking spot has added way more parking spots so I'd imagine it's even emptier nowadays. Still inexcusable but if the guy put up a sun blocker and had tinted windows I could see how he could go unnoticed by the general public in a hurry to catch there flight or get home. No excuse for security though, especially when the family came looking.

I wonder if parking way away from everyone else would draw more or less attention to you. You'd have less people passing by your car each day.

This... no one noticed a truck parked in the same spot for almost a year? Really? This is paid parking, right?

I remember the local news reporting a body found at KCI parking lot. They showed cameras and KC police lights flashing investigating scene it was dark out but looked like lot was full. I figured was a mob hit and never seen anything further on it till this morning in my news group. Had to be this incident as the time frame was about right.

Family put on a good show from the smarmy lawyers conference room. Looks like the old lady plans to get in on cash.
