I don't understand Rex Ryan letting a defensive player of that quality go.

Chip Kelly will be back in college in a few years.

Demeco Ryans may be cut. That's another 6 mil off the books for the Eagles if it happens. Gat dayum.

Bills had a top 5 defense last year without Kiko. I think they'll be fine.

Eagles made a good trade here. I was very high on Kiko when he came out of Oregon and he TORE the league up his rookie year. He will be back in form and be a highly productive inside linebacker. Meanwhile LeSean McCoy is a heavy east-west runner who dances in the back field more than any running back you will watch. In my book he has always been overrated.
The keys to football are an ELITE offensive line and an ELITE defensive front seven. The Eagles improved their front seven. For the Bills, they get a RB that will fit the style of play they are aiming for. They already have one of the leagues best defenses so Kiko became expendable. Win-win for both side. However this should mean Jeremy Maclin will WALK away from Philadelphia along with any other Reid drafted player from that team. Kelly has his own agenda and plan and is doing it his way. It will either work and he will look like a genius or he will be back in college two years from now. |

LeSean McCoy TRADED to Bills for Kiko Alonso
Quote:
I think he'll be ok even if Kiko doesn't pan out. I could run for 4 YPC in that system. Plus Sproles outshined McCoy often last season. You can't pay a RB $10 million to come out on 3rd down. |
