Yip! I think he'll find work, even if it's in the XFL

Some astute questions raised in this thread (well done, fellas.) Though I'm not really concerned for the hands of which the team is in. I'm just wondering what the heck is Veach gonna do at CB? WR is arguably the deepest position on the team and we just dropped a CB for anothe WR? I know we've only played one game and in mu opinion JAX got a little bit lucky with some of those perfect throws. But seriously, we need to trade for a CB#1. We straight up dont have one. A trade has to be coming at some point.

I didn't understand dumping Pringle to the practice squad earlier in the week and keeping this guy.

Although I suspect they were trying to develop a package for him at receiver for this week and he didn't do any better there than he's done at corner or running back.

We only had 4 receivers with Tyreek out.

This is an unpopular take, but I think trading for a corner is a little overreactive. With the way the rules are now, and the advances in offensive playcalling, every corner in the league is giving up catches. Look at what we did to Ramsey and Bouye. People are drooling over Minkah Fitzpatrick and he got smoked by a rookie last week. Not saying Fitzpatrick isn't a good player, just pointing that out to emphasize my point about how the league is now.

I think patience is the move at corner for now. Wait and see what we look like when Claiborne comes back, and make a move before the deadline if we need to.

I think it's because Smith has value in this league while guys like Pringle are a dime a dozen.

Agree with all of this.
