Yea, pretty much. Its been discussed over and over but basically our corner outfielders have ZERO power. We have guys who can hit, but dont have alot of power. The Royals want to pretend its the 1970's still

What happened to our vaunted bullpen?

After starting the game up 4 runs, this should have been a win.

Did anyone learn how to say "My God, you suck!" in Japanese?

Zero power, zero plate discipline, terrible baserunning.

Stat: Royals are 3rd in the AL in batting average, but 13th in OBP and 12th in SLG. So although they have a high BA, they are DEAD LAST in runs scored.

Not only are they not getting runners on base, but they are losing far too many of the few baserunners they have to caught stealing and getting thrown out trying to stretch singles into doubles, etc.

And please, don't anyone give me this "Well, at least we're aggressive." We're not being aggressive, we're being STUPID, and it's costing us two extremely valuable commodities right now -- baserunners and outs.

I'd like to see a list of potential free agent position players. More specifically, guys who strike out less than Guillen.

We are developing a trend. Score a few runs in the first couple of innings and then sit back and don't do shit on offense the rest of the game.

And the sad part is, do we really have anybody in the minors who looks to be a star positional player and can hit? We either have guys who can hit great but can't play in the field or guys that can play in the field but can't hit worth crap.
