Scott didn't fit the offense. They went with Foles because he's a true pocket passer.

This team needs to get serious about a developmental QB to sit behind Smith. It's obviously not coming at pick #1 and with our #2 gone it needs to come ASAP. I dont care who it is but they better not be 3rd day leftover garbage.

Right. It was the same coaches and same offense that he was recruited to Arizona to play. The fact is that Foles is just a superior QB and never looked back once he was in.

Foles is garbage.

Remember in 2010 when Scott came in to win acouple games in Foles' absence and then Foles came back to end the season on 5 straight losses?

Scott beat shitty Washington and UCLA teams. Foles came back in and played #12 Stanford, USC (by 3), #1 Oregon, Arizona State (their big rivalry game; lost 29-30 in 2OT) and #13 Oklahoma State, all on a bum knee. The 'Cats were 5-1 before the injury.

I doubt Scott becomes a great QB in a pro style offense but may be serviceable in a team willing to incorporate the read option. I still think he ends up in Seattle.
