Lamar said he wants to keep Carl as GM.
Carl said that he does not plan on replacing Gunther. Of course, he is unlikely to say anything else during the season and he did leave the door open to change his mind. But for now, he's giving Gunther a "thumbs up." Let us assume the worst: Gunther is the Chiefs Head Coach for the 2001 season.
