HERM FOR PRESIDENT

This ought to fire some people up but this guy is really under appreciated I know I get pissed at all the runs on first down but he once AGAIN got another playoff birth. For Herm Edwards this is a great accomplishment and a wonderful gift to all chiefs fans he has truly gone through so much this year from the starting quarterback experiencing a serious blow in the first game to the tackles lining up the IR. This guy truly rounded up some competitors-Tamba Hali,Bernard Pollard,Jarad Page.
His run, run, pass, punt as some refer to it should be a good gameplan vs Indy hopefully we don't have to through the pass and punt in there vs the Indy D.
P.S. give the first year coach a little love

agreed!!! Wouldn't it be something if we went all the way?? At least we still have hope. I still believe even after 35+ years and that is a good thing.

Ya and I saw a flea flicker and a half back pass the first time this season also...still not enough to keep me from worrying about being predictable.

Ways he could win me over:

1. Advance to the AFC Championship game.

I'd love a Superbowl, but getting to the AFC Championship would be overachieving for this team. It would earn my respect.

2. Start Huard on Saturday.

Herm is a damned fool if he starts Green this week. Anybody not related to Trent Green can see it. Huard gives us the best chance to win, plain and simple. If we lose with Huard, I'll at least feel like we went down swinging.

Right now Herm is MartyJr... Once He coaches a team to more than 10 wins in a season and goes to or wins an AFC Championship then you might have a legit argument...

Until then

Just because the Chiefs made the playoffs this year doesn't make them better than last years Chiefs. To me, the Chiefs last year just looked like a better team. Not by alot, but they still looked like a better team. Our defense is about identical 19.7 points let up this year to 20.3 last year, and our offense was clearly better. Just because we went 10-6 last year, and didn't make the playoffs didn't make Dick a bad coach. It is just luck of the draw sometimes what record will get in. You can't always have results oriented thinking when giving out accolades. However, I do think Herm has been shit on too much in KC. He'll be a fine coach. He has a totally different schemes and playcalling. He wants this team to gear towards more of a Baltimore rather than the Rams.
