Moose on first in the ninth with 1 out and down 1. We leave a slap singles hitter in to hit. I guess Ned thought we didn't need any power in the ninth to try to tie the game. It's not like we had speed on first.

That was awesome I thought. I mean why even walk up to the plate to hit? Just wave or signal to the ump that you're not going to bat and just have him call you out...stop wasting everyone's ****ing time.

Ned can't hit for them, I get it. If we hit for Dyson we most likely still lose. But Ned is playing for two hits when he let Dyson swing (or bunt, as he did try), instead of letting a guy with home run potential pinch hit. We have no speed on first, and Dyson has arguably the worst pop in the league. The chances of him hitting one in the gap are slim to none. The decision is indefensible. Should we have been in that situation, no. But we were, and Ned screwed the pooch late, once again. We had 9 hits in the game, all singles. Dyson is not driving in a guy from first base. Apparently Ned thought it was better to play for 11 singles rather than a chance at an extra base hit. Down 1 in the 9th, I wholeheartedly disagree.
