We still have a lot of problems, largely staying healthy and showing up at the end of the year, but the FO is handling them [thank God].
No, I was here the same time you were during the KCStar Exodus but my SN was ChiefPriority.

You're justifying my point about falling in line.

1. Bet I was still here first, if only by an hour or so.

2. You need first to make whatever your point is about 'falling in line.'

You inferred about supporting a Casselberry yet not necessarily all-in which is perfectly fine, and the same time doing the same with Alex.

PM2, will be the same if he falters too. Though considering he's in the perfect situation to succeed it will more drunken jubilation than if SI models are giving free BJs at the gate entrances at Arrowhead.

I would be more verbose but I'm on my cell phone so it's a pain in the ass to type with ****ed up autocorrect.

His best weapon will be Tyreek streaking down the field but we know he over reads the play and runs to the sidelines out of bounds or does a check off to a running back.

Alex Smith best year is behind him although he will play admirably in attempting to overcome his flaws. He is going be lucky enough not to get concussed and knocked out for a handful of games and then if Mahomes II is doing good may just be benched rest of the season.

The writings on the wall for Alex Smith no matter how he does he is gone.

I get it, people hate Alex here, but the franchise is not going to endear itself to prospective players if they pull a 49ers on him again.
I don't think they will. But then, the task becomes extracting a ton of value from a legit franchise that isn't a potential rival in the AFC. They can't use their waning contract leverage to ship him off to the likes of Cleveland, and sending him to SD/LA or TENN will be a real headache.
Can you imagine the heads exploding if an Alex-led AFC team goes on a playoff tear at our expense, even in 4-5 years [unless we have some success of our own in the intervening time]?

Not saying he's going to skyrocket in production, just remembering what 32yo Vinnie Testeverde looked like, compared to 38-39yo Vinnie.

QBR, completion %, sack rate all improved last season. And that was without a healthy #1 receiver.

12-4 record without JC and half the season without your highest paid defender isn't good??

Every time Alex takes a hit or throws to the wrong color team he is going doubt his abilities and its going take it's toll more so this season. He took a beating early and often in his career all that will catch up with him including the concussions he took from his head bouncing off the turf in Indianapolis.

His wife will nag at him and his teammates will be giving Mahomes II all the attention so he will start to frail and get even more down on himself and he will be feeling rejected all over again from his getting replaced by a tool like Kaepernick. He will start pressing to show that he isn't afraid to throw deep but his own fears will hold him back because that's what he will revert too how he's played for 13 years.

Total td rate was the same. Against a top five strength of schedule too.
12 wins without Charles, healthy maclin, and a thrift store version of Justin Houston.

So there's that.

The excuses never end.

Can never just admit how incredibly average Alex is. You want Alex to win the Super Bowl? You'd better hope the ENTIRE roster stays healthy all season. That's how little room for error he leaves with his performance.
