Is it sad that I...
can say:
"That's the best use for a cat." In response to this: http://www.upi.com/NewsTrack/Top_New...ad_track/5016/ I mean, a dog, and I have problems. But cats are, well, I hate them. |

I have no problems with cats. They dart out in front of cars much less often, and don't eat their own shit. When I go to someone elses house I never have the problem of some cat jumping up on me, drooling all over, and just being a hyperactive dumbass. Dogs do that all the time. They run around relentlessly like a stupid little kid, and will jump on guests, bite them, drool on them. However, dogs save themselves as they are useful as guards and hunting, so all is not lost.

I hate people who have big stupid dogs that don't control them. Years ago I lived with woman whose parents had two enormous giant mutant black schnauzer things (they were like great dane size). One of them was mean as hell, but anti-social, so it didn't bother me. The other was was reeruned - and I'm not talking normal dog reeruned, but ultra-reeruned - it would regularly walk into walls and furniture. And it had that nasty schnauzer beard, which was always wet with drool. I was constantly getting mugged by the damned thing - it would tear holes in my clothes, scratch me, get that friggin drool all over me - and my girlfriend's dumbfuck parents thought it was cute. Yeah, it's cute that my brand new shirt is destroyed because you won't discipline your pets. Thanks a lot. Finally, one day when I was in a room alone, the dog started bothering me and I punched it right in the head as hard as I could. That did the trick - the damn thing never bothered me again (perhaps it wasn't quite so stupid after all). I'll stick with cats, thank you very much. Feed 'em and clean the box every other day. No walking, no fuss. |

I got a chuckle out of it. The story would've been funnier if it wasn't two armed weirdos. Overall, cats are ok as house pets but they like to use my lawn as a toilet so I hate 'em.

Are you saying you've never pissed in someone's yard, or even a patch of grass that wasn't "yours" when you were drunk?

Yes, definitely sad.
For me, the choice between a dog & a cat is an easy one...its a dog every time. But like BigWillie said, cats have their own pro's...they will crap in a box without fail, are generally more wary of roads, dont jump all over guests & dont eat near as much. I honestly have never understood cat haters, its a cuddly little animal for f@cksake...whats the prob??? |

I have both, love'em both. You just have to get the right ones. I have a lab that doesn't bark, bite, or jump on you. I also have a cat that is pretty well behaved.

Some cats can be really nasty. I'm generally very good with animals (dog and cats alike) and have encountered a few that I'd just as soon toss in a microwave. But what I don't understand why hateful cats earn all cats a bad rep, yet nasty dogs are somehow overlooked.
A hateful cat might hiss at you or scratch you. A hateful dog might RIP YOUR fuckING THROAT OUT. |
