It took Sam Bradford 11 starts before he threw for over 300 yards in a game, Tim Tebow threw for 300 yards in his second start in the NFL.....

He faced the Houston ****ing Texans. There's no doubt in my mind Bradford could have easily thrown for 300 yards if he played the Texans. Did you see the WRs the Rams had last year? The WR he had a connection with, Clayton, was out for the season after playing Detroit. The Rams basically had UDFAs and a few 6th round/7th round picks at WR. And look at this, I'm not denying that Elway was a good QB, but Bradford had the best record for a QB taken 1st overall. Ever. You can say he choked against Seattle, but in the end Bradford had a great season.

And you know who the 300 yard game was against? The Broncos. And he's only going to become a better QB with McDaniels serving as QB coach/OC.

Then he goes out in his second game as a starter and throws for 300 yards, not in garbage time mind you, but in a heroic 17 point comeback effort where he scored the game winning TD in the final minutes. It was the 2nd to last game of the season. Both teams were eliminated from the playoffs already, both were playing for nothing.

Bradford, on the other hand, faced the ****ing Saints defense, Falcons D, Bucs D and the Chargers D. He had one of, if not the best, rookie year by a QB taken 1st overall. He also had the best record. He did that with basically Jackson and a shitty WR core. He also attempted shorter passes than Tebow.

I really like Tebow as a person and I hope he does well, but playing 3 games against teams that were already eliminated from playoff contention doesn't mean much, IMO.
