Sadly, I agree. He won't do anything.
Which is sad, because there's no reason not to take whatever you can get for DJ, if you have no intentions of letting him play - which its become very obvious they are not. Something > nothing. Especially for a rebuilding team. |

Clark has told Scott no more spending.
Clark is spending less because of the money he has already tied up in the Arrowhead rebuild.

"Nothing concrete" to Bowe rumors
Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on October 17, 2009 1:52 PM ET The trade of Gaines Adams won't do anything to quiet down the trade rumors floating around the NFL, usually on talk radio stations. One of the more far-fetched ones included the Ravens talking to Kansas City about Dwayne Bowe. We're not sure exactly where the rumors came from -- we saw it here first -- but the rumor included Baltimore sending a second- and fifth-round pick for Bowe. Old PFT buddy Aaron Wilson confirms there is "nothing concrete" to the rumors. While Ravens coach John Harbaugh wouldn't rule out a possible deal of some sort Friday, this one seems unlikely for a variety of reasons. Primary among them is that Dwayne Bowe is a relatively low-cost quality player on a Chiefs team that needs more of them. Since some tough love in the preseason, Bowe has responded with 15 catches for 181 yards and three touchdowns in four games. That doesn't sound like much, but he's clearly the best receiver on the Chiefs. He's cut down on his drops and made a clutch touchdown grab on fourth-and-seven last week to force overtime against the Cowboys. Bowe is one of the few top-shelf talents on the Chiefs roster; coaching him up seems like a far better option than trading him away. |

Funny that the Bowe trade was mentioned by Schefter as something "he" would do and it went from that to a rumor of an actual possibility to now nothing concrete because it makes no sense.
No shit. |

I know, funny how that works. One guy's thought of what should happen, turned into a "rumor" that the coach won't rule out. And why would he?

Jackson County has put more into that stadium than Clark has. That is no excuse to be such a cheap ass and put a crappy team out there. He has run the team into the ground and should step down.

Just curious...who would step up. No one wanted to buy the Royals for $65-70 million. Who is going to pay $500 million for the Chiefs, and if someone did you can bet they won't be in KC.
