Weekend Lake House: Do you have one?
The family has been contemplating on getting a weekend getaway place on a lake of sorts...something with lakefront and a dock. So that eliminates a lot of lakes... located within 3 hours of KC.

So I’m curious for those who have something like this; where is it? And how do you like it...or don’t like about it?

+10 points if it is NOT at the Lake of the Ozarks.

I am actually heading down to Pomme De Terre Lake a week from Thursday to visit some friends and was thinking about detouring through Warsaw if there is a dive on the water that you recommend.

The best one here retired last year. Anything else is run of the mill.

We spent the weekend in a yurt at pomme last year. It was pretty neat. We had fun.
