KU was chosen because its a better brand. This has been discussed a million times.

Rarely is college football about "who deserved it".

Unless your team was playing in the Championship Game, all the other bowls were Not The Championship Game. I don't see why anyone would really care.
I'm a KU fan and I didn't give a shit about the Orange Bowl. The best thing about KU going was the butthurt by Mizzou fan.
