I did, but all it does is increase his flying skill to max, making it easier to control a plane/helicopter.

I've been flying with Franklin and his shit tastic flying skill and its night and day. With Trevor and Michael you can hold a plane steady, but with Franklin its a ****ing nightmare, you are bobbing and weaving all over the place with very little control.

So doing the flight school just makes it easier to complete the stuff where you have to hover over a location/pick something up.

Anything flight related that you in planes seems to rapildy increase the skills. Flying under bridges for the checklist, flying inverted, flying sideways (knifing), and successful landings of planes all make that bar fill up pretty damn fast.

yeah i did everything except for the final plane speed test. I crashed into a building and rage quit. Who here has done the last bureau heist?

I choose to pose as firefighters and use my fav character of IV: Packie. I love he is in this game. The mission was incredibly easy all things considered. Anyone choose the other way? I thought the idea of parachuting into the building was way too hard?

Just go into pause screen and select replay mission. You will be taken back to the board and you can choose the alternate option and immediately replay the mission without having to go about all the setup tasks. I still have to go back and play the alternate methods of most of the heists, as well as see what happens when you choose dumbasses for crew members.

thats awesome. when i beat the story i will have to do that. i thought it would only let me replay heists i had already selected.

Nope not connected. There are some characters that pop back up or events that are referenced. However, not needed at all. I picked up the GTA pack on steam a while back for $12. (Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto IV, Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City) At that price, I would say go for it, but not the $20 or $30 they want for IV alone on amazon.com.

Id hate to play GTA 4 again after playing 5. I hated just about everything about how 4 played. The only good thing about it was the amped up Euphoria physics engine on the people. GTA 4's gunshot reactions and reactions to getting hit by cars and things is a lot better than GTA 5.

Its like they toned it way down for 5. Not sure why they did that.
