Planets don't expand. The continental drift is all due to us ravaging the environment by driving big SUV's. If you don't believe me just ask Al Gore.

Here is the issue, without looking at all of his data. As a planet cools, it will expand, I think that is basically common sense. Mars is a dead planet and cooled relatively quickly, never even had a strong enough magnetic pole to hold onto its atmosphere, much less hold in its own heat.

It would make sense that the Earth has cooled over a few billion years, if not we would still be a molton planet. Especially if you believe that a mars sized object once hit Earth to create the moon.

But while it is possible that no subduction on a relatively quick cooling Mars, does not mean that it didn't happen on Earth. Just because subversion is happening doesn't mean the Earth is not cooling and expanding.

Very cool theory. I have to admit that the idea of floating land masses slipping all over the place crashing into one another sounded stupid. This theory makes quite a bit more sence.
