Lamar Jackson has 298 rushing attempts through 2 years as a pro.

Damien Williams has 266 career rushing attempts...as a 6th year NFL running back.

Baltimore may well win a Super Bowl this year with Jackson, but it is not a sustainable plan. There will be a season ending leg injury eventually. He’ll come back the next year and be a step slower. He’ll take more hits. He’ll continue to think he can outrun defenders, but he won’t be able to.

He won’t develop as a true passer, because the injuries will take him off the field. As he struggles, he’ll keep running the ball and taking more hits.

It’s pretty easy to see this coming. He is not destined for a long, successful career as a QB in the NFL.

Jim Harbaugh is milking this man for a title with no regard for his long term health.

Lamar will look like Earl Campbell when he’s old.

Lol it hasn't changed. They've just committed to their shtick. Meanwhile the Chiefs defense has improved tremendously and the offense is healthier than it was in Week 3. Dipshit!!!!!

If you jolt them out of their autopilot then they’re going to be in trouble.

Lamar got embarrassed in his one playoff game. Why should I be scared of this guy?

If it gets them a title, then why not? It’s probably the best move for Baltimore, and the worst move for Jackson (long term at least). Run him into the ground and move on when he falls apart. Never pay him the big contract.

Jackson will be remember as a Mike Vick-type icon. That’s probably worth more (marketability) than trying to become a pocket passer and ending up as an average QB with the occasional crazy scramble.

I'm a fan of a terrible NFC team. I watch the Ravens and Chiefs each week because they are fun to watch. But the salt in here during the win against NE, and the Bal win tonight is unreal.

Here is the way I see it. KC beat Bal early on in the season. They are hot right now. Maybe they have peaked too early. Something Pete Carroll tried to do was peak at the right time. BAL is the threat to KC and that's why I feel so many people are worked up right now.

KC defense has improved but the offense isn't what it was either.

Mahomes is the better all around QB. There is no doubt. There is nothing more that I'd love to watch KC vs Bal showdown

Also if anyone thinks Baltimore’s gimmick offense will survive past this season then they’re nuts.

They better win while they can because they will be solved over the offseason.

Where and when did I say the Chiefs could not beat them? You’re so drunk off the Kool-Aid that anything you perceive as anti-Chief just triggers your salty ass.

That Ravens passing game is relying less on RPO and more so on play action-bootleg. They have figured out how to make the most out of their personnel namely Andrews and Brown off of their power run game. They sprinkle in enough read option that it puts teams in conflict and destroys their discipline, and when playing with the lead, defenses have to gamble as to what they try to take away.

I agree that the Chiefs defence is much improved since early in the season, but you cannot tell me that there are huge concerns with the offensive line play and the run game. Mahomes has looked human these last few weeks as well, so at worst this seems to be a push between two really good AFC teams. But right now the Ravens are the hottest team in the league and until proven otherwise they have to be the favourites to win it all.
The road goes through Baltimore.
