I'd be more concerned about the secondary and our shallow depth at OL.

Also, looks like there won't be any major changes coming to the SEC scheduling procedures beyond teams being required to schedule an opponent from a power conference for one of their OOC games.

Redshirt freshman J'Mon Moore got a lot of buzz during the season last year, as he redshirted. I don't think he would have done that for MOST Missouri teams. He's got ideal size (6-3, 200) and supposedly runs good, clean routes and has good speed.

True freshman Nate Brown also could help right away. He's also a bigger guy (in the 6-3/6-4 range) who played at a great school (North Gwinnett) with excellent coaching and that plays at a high level of competition. He's smart, produces on the field, and has played in a sophisticated spread. If anyone should be able to make a quick impact, it's him.

S Matt White has exhausted his eligibility, so that's addition by subtraction. Ian Simon and Braylon Webb should be a very effective safety combo. Possibly Missouri's best since Pig Brown and William Moore.

Gaines is a big loss. Ponder less so, but he was still an experienced guy.

I'm confident in Penton and Gibson, who both looked very good in action last year during Gaines' absence. If Singleton can stay healthy, I think he's a plus type at the nickel.

I expect them to be worse at corner, but better at S. Hopefully, things even out.

Abbington was rated by Rivals in the past 24 hours or so. They returned him to 4-star status.

Sounds like it's going to be an uphill push for Hentges. Ohio State is the key obstacle... Henson will need to impress him with discussion of what they will do with their TEs/how they will use them.

Hentges is more of a traditional TE than a spread TE, which actually should give Mizzou an advantage now. Henson uses his as inline blockers and more pro-style TEs, whereas Myer's best TEs were used as big slot WRs and on that triple option with Tebow (the shovel pass).

You've made a very good point about the different uses of TEs by each offense. Mizzou's can actually make him more pro ready in the traditional sense and the traditional offenses, but Meyer's can give him a bigger "star presence" if that makes sense, and prepare him for the heavy passing teams in the NFL like NE or NO. He has some tough decisions to face.
