I'll probably find the time to keep daily updated brackets in the thread. In the mean time, who do you have winning it all? Kentucky a lock? Teams lose. So I don't think so. I truly believe undefeated hurts you going into The Dance.

Virginia's head coach Tony Bennett comes from Wazzu and I remember being happy the day he left even though I wondered why Virginia? Not rooting for them. I really don't know.

I expect Kansas to not make the sweet 16 potentially. Definitely not a championship contender (which would make it all the sweeter should they defy the odds).

NM State - too good to be a 15th seed

WSU - way to good to be a 7th seed, this was a poor seeding by the selection committee. WSU has wanted KU and has pissed them off as a 7th seed after winning their conference and having a bad conf. tourney game.

Notre Dame - very tough team, won there conf. tourney after taking out Duke & UNC.

UK - Nuff said.

I didn't expect the 'Canes to make the tourney, but I think they have a better resume than UCLA.

Miami has a higher RPI, basically the same conference record as UCLA (Miami was 10-8 in a better ACC and UCLA was 11-7 in the Pac 12) and Miami has a 16 point win at Duke.

Literally any team with anything remotely close to a decent anything has legit beef that UCLA got in over them. After the 16 seeds losing, literally picking UCLA to lose in the first round(or whatever it's called)is the easiest call in the tourney

I actually think we're in for a relatively excitement/upset free tourney. At least as it relates to the later rounds. I think the FF will be U of A(hope they win it all), Kentucky, UVA, Duke

Potential 1st round shocker: Harvard is always a tough out. UNC in for a game

State of Kansas matchup will go to WSU(I'm a KU guy but just giving my honest opinion/prediction).

actually we beat NMSU as well in the very first game of the year by 17 i believe. I wasnt all that impressed with them at the time. I think KU should take them fairly easily.

It's beyond obvious that the committee wanted the KU/WSU matchup. WSU has no business being a 7 seed with a KenPom ranking of 14 and most importantly (for NCAA purposes) a RPI ranking of 16. Their seed defies any logic whatsoever outside of that matchup.

Should have given KU an easier 15 seed, though, if they really wanted to ensure it.

Yup agreed, its almost like the committee said we will under seed but will put you in Omaha to make up for it.

Just as impressive as KU's 11 straight Big 12 titles is that this is the 15th straight year KU is a top 4 seed and 26th straight year in the NCAA Tournament, one year short of the all-time record.

I don't think it's a sure thing that WSU gets past Indiana. Van Fleet is a horrible defender and I could see Yogi having his way with him and I can see Yogi taking him out of the game defensively. If Indiana gets hot from three (that's all they do pretty much) they can beat WSU. Both teams don't have a strong inside presence so KU has a good chance at beating both if we make it past NMSU.

Yeah. That's a shit deal that UCLA is in. I thought Miami was kind of cruising along. I had no idea they were a bubble team.

Shit draw for KU. Pretty absurd. Quite frankly I'd rather have OUs 3 than our 2.
