Because if they end up picking a Running Back or something like that they will get crucified by the fanbase...........Not that it matters much, Carls job is secure outside of him pulling a Michael Jackson on little boys. Even then, it might not get him fired.

Even though you asked me not to, I will post and will even play nice.
Whom do you feel is worthy? Why will KC not pick that player? I'd prefer Derrick Johnson because KC needs a young stud OLB. But I would be happy with Pacman Jones, Marlin Jackson (if they trade down) or Rolle. There's a good chance one of those players could be picked by KC. MM ~~

BTW, nice "I'm in Iraq so be nice to me" addition.
If you are, thanks for your service (I may not be a fan of the war, but totally, 100% respect those who serve). If you are not, then you're even more of a prick. Either way, remember one thing: If the enemy is in range, so are you. MM ~~

I think there's a pretty good chance that they'll do the "right" thing this year. Do they really have any other alternative?

And as we've seen, KC does NOT have the coaches that can teach that. We need a player more polished, IMHO, and while neither Jones nor Jackson is perfect (Rolle is probably close), they're closer IMHO. MM ~~

The chances of Carl Peterson getting our 1st round pick right are roughly similar to the chance that DaddyT will ever act normal instead of reeruned...

I don't give a flying fuck whether they draft someone we want now. I want them to draft someone that, when the season is over, we can all say "wow, he was a great fucking pick".
