Nothing but good to say about the town, people, and of course the very fine selection of ballet venues.
I still think Miami takes the cake as far as Florida ballet venues but Tampa is up there.

Of course nothing touches Miami. I tend to stay away from Ybor - don't want to get shot. It's gone downhill. Generally we go out in Hyde Park (South Tampa) or Channelside (downtown Tampa).

It was getting that way when I moved away from Tampa in 2002. You've got to be wary of any place where they need to put up cameras with face recognition capabilities.
