I'd bet the odds are pretty high. All four channels get 1 game next week, ESPN, NBC, CBS and FOX.

If the other AFC game is Jacksonville/Tennessee, probably 99% odds it's the early Saturday game and ends up on ESPN. That'd put the Chiefs/Ravens on Sunday on CBS and split up the NFC games between NBC/FOX. The NFC games next week are going to have way more star power.

Just pound his dick into the dirt 3 or 4 times on that first drive knowing that there's a good chance he'll have those happy feet we've seen before for the rest of the game. The league gets what it wants, a Pats TD, you stop the clock with each roughing call (allowing more time to counter the TD the league is gifting the Pats), and you also at least give yourself the chance to draw-out a Brady happy feet performance for the rest of the game.

We all know Brady hates to get hit, so hit him while the league's officials are following their orders.
This is actually a pretty good strategy.

The league's officials call everything they see, but only see what they want. So outside of a call or two they might put on the books against the Pats as some weak defense when they're accused of being biased. you're right..

Guys, don't look now, but Case Keenum is a starting QB. He's a shorter version of Alex Smith with more playmaking ability.

At the end of the year, if I'm the Vikings, I'm not so sure I don't let both Bridgewater and Bradford walk and then keep Keenum on a Tyrod Taylor contract.

Like... the Vikings are probably the best team in the NFC. Anything can happen in those playoffs, but right now they're my pick to go to the Super Bowl from the NFC.

It would be really hard for me to Trent Dilfer him after this year, where he takes the team to the SB (possibly even wins it) and then I let him go somewhere else in pursuit of Kirk Cousins.

Let the mu****er win a playoff game first before we crown his ass. Same thing with Bortles.

I'm betting a lot of experts don't pick either bye team to win the NFC. Their wild card weekend is going to feature some combination of Brees/Goff/Newton/Ryan or Russell Wilson. I'm guessing all of those guys will be picked over Foles and Keenum. Vikings look like they have the defense to win though. It should be fun to watch.

Absolutely, but we can all agree that Bradford can't be trusted. And you can't offer Bridgewater starting QB money, either. If Teddy accepts a short term deal to prove he's fully recovered, then maybe.

But that's the issue. You've got an incredible defense. You don't want to go into next year with THREE brand new QBs. You should try to find at least one guy to keep around.

I've been intrigued by Keenum for a while. He was pretty impressive in the Rams Hard Knocks. Undrafted QBs are always going to have a tight leash, though.

The Patriots success is proof the NFL is rigged up. Never having a bad year is all you need in football. Every team has bad years but them. Every team gets victimized by bad calls but them. . Kraft owns the league. How many home playoff games is it possible to get. How many calls go their way year after year. How many times do they get away with holding? It's insane for a team have this much success on a large roster that never stays the same. It's statistically not possible.

It's an all time impressive streak... but they have one of the greatest QBs ever, an all time great coach, and they play in a division where the other three teams aren't run very well. The Jets had a couple really good years, the Dolphins have had a good team here and there but nothing like the AFC West or North.

I would have players hit him low and late many times. NFL is not letting them lose.
