Dispelling the myth that we have to cut Cyrus Gray or Devon Wylie

That is nonsense. Garbage. Hippy bullshit. LIES.

We don't need to cut either player. And we won't. In fact, we can keep both those guys, everybody's favorite midget boyfriend ****ster McSuckstick, AND a FB that people supposedly think we need.

QBs- 3
RBs- 4
FBs- 1
WRs- 6

________
52 roster spots filled

And that leaves one extra roster spot available for someone else. Probably a versatile swing DL like Amon Gordon, or maybe we keep Darryl Harris around as backup G/C so Lilja doesn't have to pull double duty.

Hell, imagine if Romeo says we don't need a FB and uses Steve Maneri as the H-back type blocking guy? You can keep Gordon AND include a shitty DB like Jacques Reeves, or one of the WRs that will get aborted like Jamar Newsome or Josh Bellamy.

The point is there are tons of available places to siphon off spots to make room for Gray and Wylie. What was it Herm said? You keep the best players on your roster, even if it means you wind up with 10 RBs. Here we're only keeping 4. Maybe 5.

QB
Matt Cassel

No. We're going to cut Bowe before the season starts when he threatens a holdout.

Need help with your sarcasm detector?

For ****'s sake just read the list. I even bolded all the positions so you could find Dwayne Bowe's name easily.

At least one of either Brandon Bair or Jerome Long will make their way onto this team, and the other will make the PS if they clear waivers.

And that can happen under the SNR Plan. There's at least one available spot for either of them.

This roster improves every year. I remember 2009 thinking: Man, this roster blows. In 2010: Man, our starters are starting to look good, but there is no depth. 2011: More starters, but still lack depth. 2012: That looks like a nice, well-rounded, deep roster, minus the QB position. 2013: ??????

I'm all in on that roster, but boy if Hudson gets hurt.

But yea, I think they should keep "50 shades of" Cyrus Gray and Wylie.

Youth and speed will serve us well at some point in time whether it's this year or on down the road. In the 4th Quarter when the opposing D is tired or there is an injury to one of the starters.

Also, I agree we don't need a FB. Use Hillis or Maneri.

Lilja is the backup C. You also have the option of keeping Darryl Harris around as a backup G/C as the last spot on the 53.

The offensive line for once has all its bases covered. Mims can play left and right. Stephenson... well... he's Stephenson. But hell, Jeff Allen plays both guard spots and LT. Hudson can play G or C. Harris can play G or C. Lilja can play G, but will play C if necessary.

We're set to go. I'm not worried about injury problems with this offensive line. We'll take a step back, but that's to be expected with ANY injury.
