That's fine. Puts people on base.
And its the only way Gordo is getting on base.

I have mixed emotions about this. On one hand it puts runners on base and has been a major contributor to our offensive explosion.

On the other, a bean ball sidelined Hos for a month last season.

I think our responses have been kinda quick and macho because we generally disagree with the premise. Outside of possibly Samardzija hitting Cain, these have not been intentional at all. The idea that we're getting hit for dancing and handshakes is just laughable.

True.
I don't think I agree with Saul's theory though that it is retaliation for the dugout antics.

We will have a slump. It's baseball, a lot of games. Getting this great start will offset it. I can't wait until we get the Tigers, it will be fun no matter what happens.

Yup. Detroit is the favorite. They're the 4 time defending AL Central Division Champions for a reason . . . .

(Of course, we just have to settle for being the defending AL Champs for now. )

I don't agree with Saul either.

But even if he was right, I wouldn't want these guys to change.

If these guys keeping winning like this, having fun like this, they will attract attention from casual fans.

Baseball needs more teams like this.

Run differential is not a random stat. It's one of the more common team advanced stats.

Teams with huge run differentials tend to be pretty good. Especially in the regular season.
