Gotta love the kids toughness and attitude. Looks like we have a QBOTF!!

thank you reid and dorsey
Is it possible he ran anywhere near a 4.5 40 back in 2010?

I don't think you draft an Aaron Murray to sit the bench forever.
Alex Smith is one of the best mentoring QBs in football. You let Murray sit behind Alex and hold the clip board minimum 2 years, then IF he is better than Alex, you dump Alex's salary and rock and roll. Just have to structure Alex's extension that way or just franchise him next year. Problem is, you have to be sure about Murray.

If you took Bridgewater, I would be sold on that plan. With Murray, who knows if he will ever be better than Alex? Alex is a solid 15th or so rated NFL QB. Will Murray be at least as good? If not, why play him? You would only dump Alex's salary for somebody better, not somebody worse.

For your sakes, here is hoping Murray sits and becomes better than Alex since you don't have Bridgewater.

Jeez some people are never happy- do you want him to throw it endzone to ****ing endzone or something.

Meh, I'm not expecting a much. I'm expecting a backup QB at the most. Forgive me for my lack of optimism, dude is a 5th round pick for a reason, not just his injury.

It's fine to be skeptical that he could be awesome- shit, we all are Chiefs fans, it's been bashed into our skulls with constant reminders.

The factor that tips the scales for my optimism is a GM with a track record of eyeing QB talent, and a head coach whose as good as anybody, bar none, in both evaluation and grooming NFL QBs as elite as they've come.

Bang bang.

Outside of McNabb who exactly has Reid groomed. I really don't get the QB guru talk. Offensive mind? absolutely. QB guru? I don't see it.

He pulled off some pretty good smoke and mirrors with Kolb.

Oh I don't know. .. some Favre guy...
He went to GB same year as Brett.

Managed to even make Koy Detmer a successful QB before Donovan.
