Oh please compare the QB you want to Matt Cassel. Is that really your measuring stick? The goal is to eventually win a SB, not be better than we were with Cassel. My only point is that Alex will upgrade your position. I have no clue why you guys would not want that?

Is Alex elite? No, but he just could take you guys to the playoffs with the weapons you have. Will he? I've watched Alex his whole career I don't know, but he is the best option you guys have right now. According to Bowe he's happy about the move. Andy Reid sacrificed a lot to get Alex. There has to be something there right?

Draft a young guy to sit behind him. Let him learn the ropes. If Alex doesn't work out losing a 2nd round pick is not going to be the death of this team.

If the Ravens can with Flacco and the Giants can with little Manning, we can with A. Smith.

I do not think Smith is elite. I don't think G. Smith is either. Of the two I want the one that can best help me win games, get in the playoffs, and have a shot at the SB. A. Smith gets me there more quickly.

So Scott Pioli just said that if he were in KC he would of tagged Bowe again. Hopefully Reid and Dorsey can get a long term deal worked out.

Actually if they sign bowe long term it is 80% certain they will tag albert as they are concerned with his back. If he can get a long term deal than he will. But right now in the draft it looks like were going to try and trade back.

Smith is considerably worse than Flacco and Manning. He is Cassel.

Looks to be a pretty shitty upgrade for the cost of #34 overall plus a conditional, for a guy you admit isn't elite. It doesn't get any simpler than that.

I know we did give up too much but A Smith is a clear upgrade over Cassell.

His last two years have been really good. Plus he was leading the NFL in passer rating before he got replaced.
