Would a quality QB really make that much of a difference?
IMO it would.
-The OL looks worse because Cassel's internal clock is 7 seconds. -WR's have high balls thrown to them and are in danger of getting hurt. -Receivers are being missed that are wide open. Bowe's INT had Maneri so wide open on the other side that he could have taken his shoe's off and put them back on before any Raven got to him. -Our WR's, like Baldwin and Breaston, never get a chance to make plays because our QB locks on to Bowe and our running game has no choice but to take the majority of plays to cover up the QB's faults. -Defense is constantly put in a bad situation because of the QB fumbling or throwing INT's. I think this is a good talented team. Put a Geno Smith or Matt Barkley at the helm, and we are a 9-10 win team. Even with Romeo coaching. |
