But... this last Royals series was one of the hardest Cards series to get tickets to all year. It sold out as fast as any non-Cubs series, and the tickets were going for higher than normal prices on places like stubhub all season, and nobody was reselling their seats on the Prime Seat Club through the Cards website.

Now obviously the Cards sell out every night and getting tickets is not easy, but I can tell you for a fact this Royals series was really difficult to get tickets to, which is why I ended up having to go see them play against the Reds instead this last week. I wasn't paying 40-50 bucks for an upper deck seat. Pretty rough for a series Cardinal fans apparently don't care about.
For me, it's not an act. I could really care less how the Cards do against the Royals. In fact, I root for the Royals whenever I can catch a game on the radio.

It's like Chief fans here hating the Rams. I just don't get it. They're in the NFC. It's meaningless, at least it is to me.

It's really a cross state thing. IMO

Much like waiting on metrolink platform after a game a Busch..

Fans on East bound platform (Illinois bound) saying 'West Bound sucks'

Fans on West bound STL County (MO side) saying 'East bound sucks'

Same sh1t.

Yeah, I don't know of any Cardinal fans that think the Royals are a maeniful game. We last played a meaniful game against the Royals 21 years ago. The Cubs are the Cardinals rivals. Houston is working its way up to being a good rival but the Royals? They aren't even on the Cardinals rival map.

Agreed. They aren't in the same division (though the Royals were offered to move to NL Central during realignment). If Royals had moved to NLC division we would have Rivalry. Why they didn't ask Glass.....probably didn't want to teach his pitchers to bat.

For a team you could care less about, you seem to love to talk about them all the time.

I wish. We might be in the pennant race if we were in the NL.
