Yeah, well, Coach Mooch also said he would throw for 300 yards and 3 TDs against the bills too.

I think the TD's will come, but i said a few weeks ago you will start seeing the accurate passer that he is and in his last 3 games he is hovering around 66% completions. He is grasping the offense much better than earlier in the season. I admit i thought he would be around 15 TDs by now. Its also clear that KC has terrible recievers, Bowe looks absolutely like an old shot boxer out there. It looks like he signed a shoe contract with a cement company. People say hes getting open but hes not, hes just not. Slow Slow Slow. Avery is what he is. A decent 3 whos trying to play a 2. Fasano is not a upper tier TE and mcluster, he has enough years and body of work to realize he just isnt the player everyone though he would be. Alex is improving each week with accuracy which leads me to believe the TDs will follow. hopefully. Would love to see him 10-0, in the playoffs and Arrowhead stadium rockin with there awesome fans.

Our offense has been garbage three weeks in a row, outside of one half against the Browns.

Please step off.

We usually have an open receiver on any given pass play. Alex has trouble finding that guy sometimes. It's a problem and a glaring flaw about him as a QB.

Also, you're a dumbass.

This isn't like playing Madden, ya dumb shit. Playing real football, you can not see every receiver across the field at every moment. The idiots in the seats may very well see an open target, but if he isn't in visual range for the QB on his progression reads, it won't matter. Yer stupid.

I'm not expecting 100% completion percentage, you ****ing moron. I'm expecting him to make the correct read more often than he does. He's below average among starting QBs in that regard. He needs to improve it.

God, you're annoying. Nobody can make legit criticisms of your boyfriend but you and the other Niner fans who showed up on our doorstep because of Alex.

I really wish you would die. Seriously.

Ok, but my dumbass can clearly see what terrible receivers you have. Its time you start being a realist. You have not playmakers at wideout. Yes Bowe was once pretty darn good, but its over. last season is last season. He looks old and slow and CP needs to admit it. Many people are right about Smith in the first 2 quarters of the season but he has clearly upped his completion rate the more he gets into the offense. Hopefully it continues through weeks 10-16.

Overall, I am in almost complete agreement with everything that Duncan Idaho says in this thread.
I also believe that, given the opportunity, Drew Stanton would be every bit as good, if not better than, Alex Smith.

That being said, with the rest of the conference made up of pretenders, with the exception of Denver and New England, I am not so sure that the Chiefs can not advance to the SB this year with Smith.

Until Peyton Manning proves otherwise, he is still a playoff choker who rode his team,s coat tails to his only SB win, and the Patriot defense is really flawed.

Yes Drew Stanton, and his career 5 TDs-9 INTs, 63.1 QB rating and 55.6% completion % is the answer as an upgrade over Alex Smith.

Yeah, tell me about it.

Look at that amazing turnaround in St. Louis with Jeff Fisher.

And, no one was even interviewing Marc Trestman.

And Alex Smith was so much better on a terrible 9ers team than Drew Stanton was on a terrible Lions team.
