Flyovers at sporting events a thing of the past?
"Due to federal budget issues, the sporting world will soon have to say goodbye to flyovers. Michelle Beadle is alright with the cut because she isn't comfortable using tax dollars to fund this, but Dave Briggs says it's a reminder of our military in front of millions of people."
Video at the link. http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nbc-ya...224611444.html The flyovers at Arrowhead literally were about the best thing this team has had going for it the last number of years. This sucks, and I'm bummed about it. Hopefully it's not a repost, I searched. (and hopefully this doesn't end up in DC) |

At Arrowhead, after the flyover, there has been nothing to look forward to lately.

I'm torn. my favorite flyover was an A-10. F-4 flyovers were cool too. They don't do those anymore though. I went to the Chiefs game in Denver last December, I couldn't ID the jet even though it was coming right at me from the opposite end zone, it was too fast. To me, that seems excessive. If I want to watch flyovers, I'll go to an airshow.

It depends on how Alex Smith does.
(I'm surprised that I'm the first one to post this.)

Maybe they should just play some jet music over the loudspeakers and announce a flyover by Superstealth bombers.
