Who is getting this? I'm not a big fan of EA sports, but I haven't played a college football game in years and I'm definately getting this years.

They are finally throwing in online dynasty which should be sweet! Dynasty's and franchise modes are so much more fun when you are playing with other people.

So who wants to get this game and start a Chiefsplanet online dynasty? We could do Big 12 or something.

I got the game on Sunday, and I've been to OT once (I gave up an INT return for a touchdown after BOTH teams missed field goals in the first period) with two game-winning end zone dives and several other one-possession games that went either way.

I am thinking about taking the plunge - trading in some games and paying for the difference.

There's the roster problem (a patch has been sent to Sony and Microsoft, so that should be fixed whenever it makes its way through their checks and whatnot), the CPU sliders apparently don't work (HUM apparently affects both human and AI settings), and there are some online dynasty server issues. Those are the biggies.

Game's a lot of fun, though.

I thought I had heard the roster problem had been somewhat patched up. I thought rosters were available to DL through EA Locker room as long as you didn't edit the rosters you were in the clear, no?

I guess. I downloaded PastaPadre's set and haven't experienced anything untoward yet, so there's that apparent workaround for the next week or so until the patch they sent out passes through the Sony/Microsoft machines.

Don't get that one. Start up the game and go to the live menu, select "ea locker" and download the roster from this gamertag "EArosters com" - minus the quotes but be sure to leave the space between rosters and com.
Then you'll need to upload the roster that you just downloaded.
