Nik Wallenda To Attempt To Tightrope Across Canyon Tonight 7PM CST On Discovery
Wallenda walked across Niagara Falls last year and tonight will attempt to walk across the Little Colorado Gorge in Arizona live on the Discovery channel at 7pm CST.

Countdown to the walk comes on at 5pm CST.

1500 ft high, taller than the Empire State Bldg. this time untethered, no safety net.

He wanted to walk across The Grand Canyon but he was not allowed to just like they refused Evel Knievel in the 70's.

Watch this video, guy is truly nuts or has balls of steel or both.

The disappointment of him not plummeting into an exploding flesh sack of blood and spiral rent bones has me bereft. It's not unlike the disappointment I now experience from an inability to become aroused when viewing photos of women in bikinis. What once stoked the fires of my libido to a Hell's flame now glows with the pathetic inefficacy of a cigarette ember. Now, to reach similar levels of interest, I need to see a strangulated teen runaway drinking a quart of goat's blood and vagrant semen. Or vagrant's blood and goat semen.

Naked and Alone had some potential, until I realized they just followed every formulaic "reality TV" trope in the book-- put an irritable, strong personality with a complete opposite and just watch the fireworks. Change the circumstances and the scenery, but the outcome's always the same. It's more interesting than, say, how can we paint this piece of shit car, but it's still dull TV.
