Crap gifts you liked at the time, where are they now?
Not sure why I thought of this now but the other day I was talking with a group of people my age and we started talking about all the silly gifts we have received in our lifetime.

Then we talked about how long did we use or play with the gift before it wore out its welcome.

My grandfather gave me, my brother and sister a Mr Peanut peanut butter maker one Christmas.

I think we used it for a month non-stop before it went into the basement, never to be see again! Used about 10 pounds of peanuts and ate most of the peanut butter before we all tired of it.

When I was 7 or 8, I got a full football uniform, which was really cool for about a day. But I didn't really like wearing the pants, and there were few social occasions where a helmet and shoulder pads were fashionable. I wore them a few times playing pickup games in the yard, but that was it.
