I'd be scared if Pioli was the one to fire Romeo.
Really scared. Also, was it JUST Romeo that was fired, or did all of his assistants get fired, too? The answers to those questions will help follow the footprints to the ultimate question. |

IIRC, the typical way to handle this is the hc gets canned and the assistants remain under contract until an opportunity to be interviewed by the incoming hc arises..

Not sure who pulled the plug and that was not told. Typically when a HC gets the boot, the assistants get the boot too. Some can stay around, kept by the GM or ownership, but that is rare.
