Bla bla bla, he's a playmaker, he has two touchdowns already, whatever.

He has seven catches for 93 yards. 1/3 of that yardage came on one play. At least two of those are screen passes I believe.

That ****ing sucks.

This guy needs to be a threat as a WIDE RECEIVER. He hasnt made a single play down the field. I'm not even talking 20 yards. How about 10? How about coming off the line, putting your foot in the ground, getting open and giving Cassel a target?

I'm not willing to accept the idea that Cassel is so god awful he makes all our wide receivers look terrible.

McCluster hasn't done shit yet. And he was utter garbage in Indy.

Don't buy any of his ****ing t-shirts.

Seeing as how disappointment is a personal preference, he could have rushed for 1000, caught for another 1000 and farted rainbows and you could still be dissapointed.

In his defense, He's transitioning. They haven't really defined his role yet in the offense, but he has showed signs of excellence and he is a big play guy that defenses always have to account for when he's in. That's a lot right there. He's a Reggie Bush style complication to defenses. That's his future IMO

I don't think his receiving skills are that strong yet.....at least his route running. That's just going to take work. He was a back field guy at Ole Miss.

He's more dangerous with the ball in his hands than welker. But getting it into his hands may be a challenge. Give him another year or so.

More than once today I wondered where he was. But it's also a LOT harder to follow what's going on from an endzone position. But his speed should be used to at least run others off (as a decoy).

Exactly. The pass rushing specialist that was so slow that he dropped to the fifth round.

I was "okay" with the pick on draft day because the Chiefs were/are in desperate need of offensive playmakers, but McCluster has been nothing less than a MAJOR disappointment.

You can't just point to one example. He's definitely an elusive guy, but it happens way too inconsistently. We've seen two big plays annulled this season and a third one today probably negated because Donald Washington had no concept of field awareness. Hard to dispute that he has home run hitting potential.

It's there. It's just happening way too inconsistently and he needs to get better at doing things before he gets the ball to become a viable receiver. He's raw. He hasn't come close to earning his draft slot, but way too soon to say that it'll never come. I think disappointing is a good word, but anything below that... not yet.

He looked pretty elusive vs the Niners when he scored that touchdown and there was another play he took a screen pass for about 50 yards but was called back by a penalty. He's show he can be good a player like Tyson Jackson on the other hand hasn't.
