Windows 7 Product Keys
I need another Windows 7 Ultimate product key, I think. I'm told by people that you can only use one OEM Windows product key one time, and that you can't use them simultaneously. Well, I have my SAME windows 7 ultimate product key being used on 3 different computers, at the same time. No problems, for 2 years now.

I'm not bragging, I still need another legit one. And looking to find out where the cheapest I can buy a legit one would be. I still don't quite understand how I've been able to use the current one I have on 3 diff computers though.

You can only activate one time. So it sounds like you have three PC's running it, one activated. Might be able to load and not activate. Not sure about the last part though. I've been out of the mattress game for a while.

So what value is there to activating it? I don't notice any difference in performance or everyday use on any machine that I the same Windows 7 on.

Unless it's a hacked version it's already activated.

I believe it gives you 30 days to activate it before it forces the situation.

Apparently not. At least not for me. I think just Microsoft scare tactics...or they just don't give a crap about Windows 7...for the last 3 years.

or your windows copy automatically activated itself


iirc during installation if you don't tell it not to it will access a internet connection and activate itself automatically.

I'm not a super user, but it's not very convenient for me. Yeah, it's different so that admittedly is the main thing, but it auto locks the home screen and there is no way around it on Windows 10. That may not be a big deal to some, but for what I do it is. Also, it's more difficult to find programs and applications if you are not using a keyboard.

I think it has more to do with past experiences, well, at least for me.

Win98 was pretty good. Win2000 was better. XP was awful and Vista wasn't much better.

I was concerned about 7 but it exceeded my expectations. I was a late adopter to 8.1 but loved it.

I was nervous about 10 but it's been amazing but after 30 days or so, I love it.
