If Carolina ends up losing this game also; can't wait to see the "experts" talk how Carolina should still be a #1 seed.

And UTEP keeping pace with Memphis.
Tell you what. Senior nights abound across the country and teams are playing their hearts out against the top seeds. Many of those seeds have fallen, but KU has gone on a streak at just the right time of year. They haven't crumbled to the smaller guys trying to play David to their Goliath. And that might be worth a #1 seed in itself. |

UCLA is the only sure #1 seed right now, though Ohio State is looking good.

I agree; to me the #1's right now should be: UCLA Ohio State Kansas Carolina/Wisconsin Although I am sick of seeing everyone so positive that Wisconsin is a #1. |

I'm a Jayhawk fan, but I still don't see the Hawks getting a #1 seed unless they win out. One loss in the Big XII tournament OR against the Longhorns on Saturday will eliminate them from contention IMO. Our RPI is still low for a #1 seed and you can't justify us getting #1 if we lose to Texas and have to share a Big XII title with two other teams who beat us. I'm ok with that though because there isn't much of a difference between a 1 and 2 seed anyways. Besides, you may get a better draw in the second round as the 2 seed.

This Saturday's game isn't the type KU loses, especially in Lawrence. I think KU will win out and get a #1 seed. UNC and Wisconsin don't deserve it. Florida had better not lose another game.
