Did you know that cocaine and weed were made illegal in large part because it was believed and feared that black men would rape white women while under the influence? There is a whole lot more where that came from but I am aware that there is a movement to turn back the clock.

Zimmerman seems like a loser to me, but this was probably the correct verdict.

Even if you ignore Zimmerman's story (he said he just got out of the car to see where Trayvon was headed, then was going back to his car when he got jumped), it is not illegal in FL to carry a gun with a permit, it is not illegal to ignore advice from a dispatcher, and it is not illegal to follow someone. Zimmerman had every right to do all three of those things.

The only way you can convict him is to prove that he started the fight, and that was impossible to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. A lot of people are going on and on about "well he brought the gun into it" or "well he shouldn't have gotten out of his car", or "if Trayvon threw the first punch, it was only because he was scared of the guy following him", but none of those things matters.

If you cant prove that Zimmerman started the fight, then given that he was obviously getting his ass beat, he walks.

Think about this Zimmerman guys rest of his life

what's he going to be able to do?
what skill set does he have thats going to get him a job anywhere?
who would hire him?
how is he going to be able to step out somewhere to eat or shop at even a WalMart?

hes not going to be able to go anywhere or do anything without meeting some sort of resistance 90 percent of the time. I cant imagine any employer that would want to touch this guy right now with the baggage associated to his name.

His life is essentially over, whats he going to do, write a book
