So, I didn't see a thread started, and all the others are pretty maxed out to the point where a fresh thread would be needed soon either way.

Time to share the run up to ST & and another memorable year in the making!

Remember for you mlb.tv subscribers, you can go back and watch all the 2014 postseason games. I'm watching game three of the ALDS right now. Billy Butler, all stealing bases and stuff.

Can you not buy single game tix yet? I cannot find anywhere on the team page to buy anything other than season tix or register for chance @ opening day tix.

Through the Royals site, I think single game tickets go on sale 2/27. You can buy them on the secondary market right now though as season ticket holders put theirs up for sale.

Grantland has an article today about the worst contracts in MLB (we have none obv). Cabrera & Mr Kate Upton made the top 10 and they didn't even mention Victor who might end up being the worst esp with his injuries.
http://grantland.com/features/worst-...rince-fielder/

Compared them to the Phillies 5 years ago: Overpaying declining stars while letting the farm system rot. We might be closer to getting rid of these guys sooner than we thought

I find this quite amusing. I lost "bar tabs" to one of my beer drinking buddies who is a Tiger's fan. The bet was, which team won the most games. Detroit won 90. The Royals won 89 (thus, I lost). As a gag gift, I bought him a Royals shirt for Christmas. In return, he bought me a Verlander shirt. I told him my ex wife was going to use it to make a quilt.

Yes, and don't count on that ever changing. There is some talk that maybe the MLB.tv blackout might be lifted for games that FSKC chooses not to air, but even then they will still make you type in your cable credentials to prove you did not cut the cord. Thats as far as it is ever going to go.

There is no way in hell that the clubs or the networks are ever going to be fine with letting cord-cutters watch something online that the networks paid a ton of money to the clubs for the rights to broadcast.

There was an interesting post on fangraphs about this. Wouldn't it be better for FSN to offer a mobile option to further push their $$? If they partnered with MLB.tv and let you pay $50-75 more than the current mlb.tv option right now to get blackouts lifted, then FSN would be double dipping on a lot of customers who use fsn for more than just baseball.
