Alex Smith suffering serious complications.
[Bickel] Hearing from several different people over last few days that Alex Smith is having devastating complications from his broken leg surgery battling infection. Supposedly he's had multiple surgeries to try to combat infection. Chances of him playing again in real jeaopardy.


This ****ing sucks.

The last I saw, which was a week ago, was that he's undergone multiple procedures "to remove infected tissue."

Good news. He's a good person. I hope for his sake and his family's sake that he just hangs up the cleats. He'll have a good long life ahead of him. Those concussions and almost losing his leg-he's given enough to football.
