I don't expect protection via 911. by the time it arrives, it's likely it's too late anyway. Cops have a rough job I suspect though. I sure wouldn't want it.

I'm not a cop hater, but clearly there are enough bad guys, and enough culture that protects them that we have an enormous problem on our hands.

I don't really see how a CCW is relevant to cops. If a cop is threatening you and you shoot the mother****er, the next batch is going to show up and waste your ass post haste.

How often has lethal self defense against a pig been used as a successful defense? Ever?

yep. I don't even 'expect' protection from the cops. it's an impossible task, and naive to think so.

Cops have an impossible job IMO. my brother in law is a State Policemen, and some of the shit he has to deal with would drive me insane. Though I think Highway Patrolmen don't have to eat nearly as much shit as city cops; he's even stated as such, and it's one of the reasons he won't go the city route.

And in this case the cops were there, but help was too late.

Honestly, I don't think anybody on this board hates cops. Well Skip did. But he's gone. Of course it's a job I wouldn't want either, but I'm never going to allow these incidents to go unquestioned.

I questioned a cop who had indicated that I was going 69 in a 45. This was daytime week one - on that Sunday.

I asked to see the radar gun. It read 66 - he then went on to say he had scanned it twice and tht that was the second reading.
