By the end of the year SC was the best team in the country IMHO. They are 3 deep across the board. Of course so is OSU. Does Tressel have the athletes to complement his new QB? Is SC loaded again this year? College fball is so close I'm sporting some wood.

Your old Brownies actually won a SB after they scampered off to Baltimore. I guess that's like rubbing salt into a wound

The thing is you look at the players we lost, I think we still have the best LB group in the nation, the secondary is great especially the safeties, then you look at the DL you take Ellis and Jackson off but you now add in Moala and Griffin who could be even better... The only thing that concerns me at all is the OL, if it gels we could may win the NC. |

What is great about college sports as a whole is the unexpected. Teams play amazing one week and get upset the next. Nobody predicted Michigan losing to App St. or USC losing to Stanford, but things happen. To answer your question about OSU, I'd have to say yes. They have arguably the best RB in the nation and one helluva OL. They lost one lineman off of last years team and replaced him with the 2nd best tackle in the nation per scout.com and also picked up the nations top center prospect. Terelle Pryor is most likely overhyped, but will bring an added diminsion to the Buckeye offense. Finally we picked up the nations 4th best WR last year and 4th best TE. The TE I mentioned is 6'5 220 and runs a legitimate 4.4 40. |

OK. I am going to jump in and throw my .02 cents to this question. I am willing to say out right that "Yes" the Bucks will beat USC in LA. The only concern I have for tOSU is the QB play.
If Boeckman plays like he did the last part of the season then we are in trouble. If he plays like he did in the first part of the season or better, then the Bucks win. The one thing I think is a certain is that this is going to be a very defensive game and in no way do I expect USC to run up any kind of score against the Bucks Defense like some USC fans are expecting to happen. |

LOL. Well actually, I'm a Broncos fan, but I do feel bad for the Browns. Think of how crappy that must feel. The team that you have rooted for for years decides to leave town and almost immediately wins a title. Has to sting.

What people fail to realize is that all we lost was Gholston and he wasn't even our best DE last year. It was Lawrence Wilson and he went down earlier in the year. |

I knew you were a Bronco's fan. But in the same vein like the Quebec Nordics leaving for Denver and immediately winning the Stanley Cup. Although I have no love for Quebec.

I don't think that's the best defense but hey alright, and a true freshman doesn't scare me.
