Independence cops are actually pretty mellow compared to other police forces around KC. The ones on the Kansas Side, especially Shawnee, are total dicks. I was surprised to see this frankly.

No, your claim was that Obama did more to sell guns than any president ever. Almost all of those sales were in the first two years of his term when he made no effort to repeal anything, and the only gun-related laws he signed were ones expanding places where you could carry weapons.
