Hey All, Asking for Some Help...

Hey guys,
As most of you know, I participate each year in the Autism Walk for the Autism Society of Nebraska. Last year, (mostly due to you wonderful people) we raised the most funds for my Son's team, (5,000).
Well, it's that time of year again and I would definitely appreciate any help you guys could give.
Our goal is 500 this year. Last year, (since we got the most donations) Hunter was able to meet some of the players for the Omaha Storm Chasers and he was given a butt-ton of awesome gifts.
Most of you know that he just adores baseball. He loves the Chasers and of course, the Royals.

Hunter is on the high end of the autism spectrum. He is still battling with speech but the improvements he's made in the last year are just amazing. He's very independent, loves sports and the outdoors. He's exceedingly brilliant and due to programs like this, he will continue to improve. His teachers tell me that he is now the example for all parents of Autistic children that join his program. He continues to exceed expectations and it's due to the time and effort of his instructors and counselors have put in. They have so much more access to materials because of the Autism Society.
Due to his speech issue, I never would have expected him to initiate conversations but he is now doing exactly that. He also, (unprompted) told me he loved me just a few weeks ago. That is highly unusual but just shows his progress. He understands emotions and knows how to appropriately use his words to express them.

Anyway, I really appreciate everyone's help and thank you all again for what you did last year. I obviously don't expect that kind of response but whatever you guys can do would be great. Please let me know if you do donate so I can thank you all personally.

Oh and just an FYI: If you do not want to donate online, I can accept donations for you and submit checks/money orders in person on the day of the event. We had that issue last year with a few donations. Just PM me and I can give you my address.

Thanks again guys!

Just an FYI to everyone... Mac is coming up for the walk. If anyone else can make it, please let me know. We'll go out either before or after.
Thank you all for your help.

I have an awesome story about Hunter.

As most of you probably know, all Autistic kids find their niche. There's always something they can do that amazes people. Math, technical manuals, computers etc. well, Hunter seems to have awesome memory recall.
A month ago he and I went to the grocery store. We got about 15 items and went to the self-check isle. He's seen me do it a few times and he finds it fascinating.
When we started checking out, I let him take over. He scanned all the items, I showed him which buttons to push and let him swipe my debit card. After that, I whispered my pin in his ear. He pushed the according buttons and we left.
Yesterday we're at the same store and I decided to see if he could do it again.
He hit the exact buttons, scanned the items, asked for my card and swiped it. Then entered my pin. I liked to shit.
Things like this just baffle me. He's so fricken amazing and it's due to programs like this that his teachers find where the kids excel and cultivate their talents.
Again, thank you all.
Love you guys!

Hey all. I'm un-sticking this but thank you all for your help.

The event is tomorrow so there's still time to donate if you'd like. We didn't do as well this year but we still got the most donations on our team. (I'm too competitive sometimes)

Anyway, let me know if you either A. Donate or B. Want to come out for the walk.
Hunter is doing very well and he thanks you too.
Thanks all.
