Christmas Vacation, Christmas Story and Bad Santa are the best/entertaining Christmas movies IMO

First, horrid idea and not surprising considering Hollywood sucks so much scrotum, they should probably get a jumbo-sized set of those balls that hillbillies put on the back of their trucks, and drape them over the "Hollywood" sign near Dane's house.
Second, I'm glad that Hollywood is incredibly averse to all things Judeo-Christian, in that I will never see my beloved Yul Brynner besmirched in some god-awful "Moses, The Musical 10"-horseshit.

A quick cursory check and this sounds like a whole lot of bullshit to me.
Bob Farnsworth has absolutely zero screenwriting credits. Martha Bolton is old as **** and was a writer for Bob Hope. Who in the world would give them $25 million to shoot that script? Doesn't RKO have the rights to a sequel since they own the film? It seems rather fishy. |

I like the part where he puts his tongue on a frozen pole. Then goes to the island of misfit toys and looks for the meaning of Christmas.
The abominable snowman putting a star on the tree always brings tears to my eyes. |

Ehhh, why. The movie is great on its own.
Instead of hoping the zombie apocalypse starts in Denver, I'm now shifting it to Hollywood. |

Producers and studios choose to shoot in New Orleans due to the tax credits (other states like New Mexico offer them as well). It's a MAJOR issue in the state of California and causes resentment amongst the locals. Something needs to be done to keep filming in state but the legislators have failed to act. It costs the local economy hundreds of millions, if not billions. |

Paramount nixed the Sequel. Saw it on IGN. You all may revel in your black and white nostalgia again. Rejoice!

Paramount Pictures has slammed the brakes on plans by independent producers to mount a sequel to Frank Capra’s iconic Christmas tale “It's a Wonderful Life.”
The studio said that Star Partners and Hummingbird Productions have not obtained the sequel rights to the movie, which starred Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed. “No project relating to ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ can proceed without a license from Paramount,” a Paramount spokesman said. “To date, these individuals have not obtained any of the necessary rights, and we would take all appropriate steps to protect those rights.” RKO Pictures released the movie in 1946. Paramount owns the copyright due to its 1998 acquisition of Spelling Entertainment and its Republic Pictures subsidiary, which had been the owner of the rights to the original 1939 story “The Greatest Gift.” ----- I knew this was bullshit. |

Here's something interesting. And yes, according to IMDb, this is apparently real:
A straight to video disaster starring Daniel Stern, which came out last year. Never saw it. Never heard of it before now. And for the love of all that's holy, I'll never even attempt to watch it. |
