If you really want a change then don't watch the game

The Hunt family cares about 2 things.

1. Money
2. being embarrassed

We have proof of this because Carl Peterson stayed an extra 10 years in KC not winning shit. The Hunt family didn't care because he was still making them 30 million a year and we weren't being embarrassed.

So don't go to Arrowhead on Sunday.

Many of the tickets are already sold but the Chiefs make a ton of money on parking and concessions. I don't believe the team even has to share the revenue from parking or some of the concessions with the other NFL teams.

So hit Clark's wallet for a million bucks and embarrass him on t.v. with a ton of empty seats.

bitching doesn't do nearly as much as one Sunday worth of an empty parking lot/stadium.

just sayin'

It's already been discussed.

Your still going to have 40,000+ fans that will show up because they don't give a shit.

Hell, I haven't watched the last two games on television.

I sure as hell wouldn't watch in person.

I'm actually a little astonished at the amount and intensity of the continued support the Chiefs are receiving from fans who are voicing their commitment on places like facebook and via twittage and stuff.

For reasons inexplicable, these people believe that it's their duty to support the team when they suck so bad it's fairly obvious the players themselves have lost much of the faith and enthusiasm they once possessed.

It's an odd phenomenon, really. Very counter-intuitive and cognitively dissonant. One would think that, if you love the team, you would play your part in correcting them when they behave improperly.

Maybe it's a "small market / city bonding" thing? It's usually a good attribute, but in this case, it's not.

Well there are 2 different issues here though.

I root for the Chiefs, not Pioli, RAC or even Clark.

I have nothing against JC, Hali, Flowers etc...its not their fault RAC and Pioli are bumbling fools and Cassel is the QB.

I watch the games and root for my guys, its frustrating, imagine their frustration.

I also make sure to bash Cassel and Pioli to every Chiefs fan I know and the success of the team directly effects my financial exposure as well.

I haven't bought a shirt or hat in years. I haven't been to a game since 2010 but unfortunately I already have tickets to the Bronco game that I cant just unload because my cousin form out of state that I am taking is a huge Denver fan and well, I don't want to wuss out or else I would not be going to that one either.

of course they do. I think its weird that guys like Rob Riggle get behind the Chiefs when things start to go South.

That's kind of how I have been on this whole thing. I declared after that Broncos fiasco last year that I would not attend another Chiefs game until they did something about the QB situation. I'm glad I have not attended a game. Sure, I would love to see Hali, Flowers, Charles, Bowe, etc. But the Chiefs need a lot of fans to not show up to maybe, just maybe finally get the message.

I admit that I have watched all the games on tv this year, though. I guess I'm a glutton for punishment. I may have to start doing what I said I would do after week 2. I may just start to DVR the games and not watch. I'll check the score afterward and if it is not embarrassing, I may watch it.

That's all understandable, Mr. Marcellus. For my part, I have always been and will always be a Chiefs fan ... there's nothing I can do about that now. And I've proven my loyalty with decades of faith and encouragement.

But I don't see how a person can blindly cheer this team on knowing that, every Sunday, the FO is feeding the fans a heaping helping of public shame served up with a side of lies. There reaches a point where you just have to recognize the reality of the situation and withdraw your support from an organization that takes advantage of your loyalty.

I still get excited when Jamaal breaks one and I love to see him run. I love it when the defense takes over a game ... which they have the talent to do. Stuff like that. What I don't like is the duplicity and perfidy that is represented in Pioli's approach to this franchise which I interpret as nothing less than a breach of trust.
