After much stress and thought over the bye week, I have come to the conclusion that Gunther should just say fug it, rush 3 guys, and drop 8 into a prevent coverage and hope that the Washington Nationals fug it up somewhere and our O can outscore em.

Then after the game, he can cry and hug Dick and tell him, "I tried boo hoo hoo."

Dick would then kiss him, hug him, and say, "I love you man."

I don't know if that would work our guys don't seem to adept at playing zone. They leave huge open areas where guys just run free with no defender in sight.

heh. It's not like they can feel the pass rush when its 4 or 5 guys; this plan could be an improvement.

So they just have 3 lineman drop into coverage and not rush, yeah, that would be good.

Don't give up the big play, then those lineman could read and react if it is a running play.

This weeks game will go a long way towards answering if we are a good team or teh suck.

Of course this is a humor thread. Your idea is unpractical, and moreover, absurd.
Yet for humor, 12 men all of the time isn't that bad. The other team is going to move the ball down the field anyway, at least this way it's a slow and steady (and boring) way via constant penalties. Plus, they could never get the ball in the end zone! In the red zone, we'll put like 16 guys out there!
