sorry if re-post

JaMarcus has bruised bone

"Raiders quarterback JaMarcus Russell said he has a bruised bone in his right knee Monday, whereas coach Tom Cable has said it's a case of tendonitis since Thursday.

Russell does not know if he'll be able to play Sunday at Miami. He isn't able to plant or push off his foot using his right knee yet. With this offensive line, Russell will need his knee at full strength to stand a chance.
That means Andrew Walter will make a second straight start if Russell's knee doesn't get better by Friday.

Running back Darren McFadden remains out with turf toe on his big left toe. Defensive end Derrick Burgess has missed five games with a partially torn tricep and doesn't know when he'll be healthy enough to play.

Other than that, the Raiders are feeling just great"

Way to go Al, 58 Million dollar bench warmers. You da man!

This is almost good news. Now we have a chance to win.
Send in TUI for cryen out loud!!

Got two words for ya, and quite amazingly it start's and end's with the same letter
Hate hockey, can't think of a more painfull way to spend an evening then have someone in the house just "check the hockey game".
There's not enough weed on this planet for me to smoke and enjoy a hockey game.
Get the idea?

When can we say that Jamarcus Russell and Darren McFadden are busts? Honestly, I doubt that Darren McFadden is a bust. He's just being misused. He has 1 TD, 1 fumble and only 341 yards in 6 games. But, I think Jamarcus Russell will not amount to much. He has 5 fumbles, 4 INTs and 7 TDs in 8 games. Compare that to Thiggy.

Now on Russell.

People got taken by JaPorky's measurables and arm strength, and his SEC pedigree. They overlooked his inconsistencies (accuracy, decision making), not to mention his ever-expanding waistline (he was 180 as a HS senior, 270 on draft day, in FOUR years) and focused on his 'potential.'

I'm glad it happened to the Raiders. And I'm not surprised at all. Russell had big, glaring warning signs that were ignored.

To call them a bust is a joke they are trapped in a train wreck, and there is not a player in the entire NFL that could shine in this mess of a team. And sorry Overhead but Tui is not the answer. The answer is new ownership. The Raiders are and always will be my team, we were kings back in the day...sadly that is not today. To quote Al "The greatness of the Raiders is in the future" because there is no hope in the present.

But hey, at least Jamarcus can throw a football through the goalposts from the 50 on his knees. At least there's that.

What are the chances the raiders draft Crabtree next year? 80% or higher?

Is Al piloting your team into a high speed nose dive on purpose in hopes he can move back to LA??
Or would it be more realistic that who ever his heir is, is whispering in Al's ear telling him that all his moves are great so that when he dies the heir can move the god awful team to LA?

I guess it could just be that Al is so mentally debilitated that each week he thinks they won and are in route to the super bowl as we speak.... nobody has the heart to tell him otherwise.

Whitlock said McFadden was only drafted so late because his ethnicity, and because Whitlock says so he couldn't possibly be a bust.

Been a fan for life myself, doesen't mean I can't love my team and bag on them.
JR has NOT lived up to "predictions" plain and simple, train wreck or not you don't spend 60 Mill for under 50% accuracy. IMO .
I agree with the ownership side, Al has gone off the deep end.
But hell, why bring Tui back if you ain't gonna use him
