This is the last year of their contract. Herm has already said he likes to keep traiing camp a little closer to home. Why even leave? They have a good practice facility. If its hot they can go indooors to the pavilion. Or just maybe move it back to Liberty

I think this will probably be their last year at River Falls. I might be mistaken, but I believe something in the stadium renovations have them staying local for training camp. I may have heard this as speculation though, can't remember.

I think it's a combination of things. Two of which are the weather and distance away from distractions. There's probably not a whole lot of things in River Falls that players can get in trouble doing. Not just getting into trouble but they have fewer distractions in a small city.

Yep.

A couple of years ago CP was shopping the Chiefs around the local colleges but I don't think any of them offered what River Falls did.

They could use both yards at the state Prison I work at. No humidity and a work out at 7000 feet elevation will be nice to have.

UNLV is coming to town for two weeks of practice this year to get out of the heat of Vegas, so why not the Chiefs!!!

I thought the contract was a series of four one year contracts, as of last year? From what I read, Herm likes hauling them off to the University, out of comfort. The Jets did their thing at Hofstra University when I went there as a student in 93.
